Today I made my fairy tale book ^^
It was pretty easy to do in the end. I had trouble finding some padding but I managed to find somewhere that sold it this morning so I've spent the afternoon making it up. I'm really pleased with how it turned out ^^

DeleteIt is so beautiful! Such a clever idea. Who is the designer of this pattern? Lovely stitching.
ReplyDeleteThank you ^^ The kit is from JCA and the designer was Michael A. LeClair. It was a lot of fun to do ^^
DeleteGreat work on your finish, it looks stunning!!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks ^^
DeleteOh my! It is gorgeous! Such a treasure - congrats on finishing this beauty!
ReplyDeleteThank you ^^
DeleteWhat an absolutely gorgeous finish! I love fantasy too, and I can't get over how much this looks like a real fairytale book :) Your stitching is lovely and your finishing is amazing!!! I tried looking up the kit info but I couldn't find a match - do you still have the title by any chance?! This is something I would really like to stitch myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated ;)
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much! Very kind ^^
DeleteThe kit is from JCA and the designer was Michael A. LeClair. Everything you needed to do the making up was included in the kit, apart from the padding. I got my kit from ebay so I don't know if any internet shops have it. I hope you manage to find a copy :)
Thanks very much for the info! I'll definitely take a look around. I love vintage kits too, there's some lovely designs around that are out of print now :) It's great that everything was included for the finishing!
DeleteI'm another big fan of this finish, lovely work.
ReplyDeleteThanks ^^
